Bends on my road..
My road bends sharp, a bit further yonder,
I cannot see, what's laid there beyond.
All I can do is make my footfall a little stronger,
Until I reach the bend, and it's there I'll know what to do.
Both rain and wind have slowed down my walk,
But when the sun shines it's brightness,
I feel life flows on through.

Thank you Nicholas
You got it spot on.
Thank you
I was reading your poem and came to my mind something I wrote and posted on Instagram to go with a picture. It is just a saying about a bend on a road. I never been to England but I lived in Australia for 3 years. Does it have anything related. The English there is a bit different than here in US.
Yes malu we have some
Beautiful winding roads
Especially in the countryside
We're not so far apart with
Our English ha ha
Thanks for your great poem. Loved to read it.
Thank you malu
Good write. Those bends in life's roads need to be walked round as there are soe wonderful surprises around them.
Thank you GF60
You are so right
Never know what's
Around the next bend
I think it's what makes
Life special....
Very true PH.
