I have this problem.
To me it seems as big as Earth.
Yet when I stare high
Into the night sky
It starts to wane a little.
Observing all the tiny points of light
Surely surrounded by their own earths,
My trouble appears relatively small,
Silly even.
There’s nothing quite like
A starry night.
Look up.

Welcome to the site Rita!
I do like your poem. You are so right. If we have a problem we have to put it in perspective, and what better way then to compare it to the universe. Right away, that problem becomes smaller than a grain of sand. Well written, would like to read more from you.
Thank you FredPeyer, more forthcoming.
Look up indeed. I love that painting. It's one of my favorites. Our worries seem trivial in comparison the vastness of the almighty sky. Bravo.
Thank you Nicholas Browning, mine too
May all your troubles be insignificant pricks of light which disappear with daylight. Delightful.
Thank you burning-embers
