Porch

Jabberwocky

Today is the first day
Of the rest of my life
Brave new world
Sans love, sans wife.
Standing on the porch
Looking at the rain
No real desire
To go through that again.
Turn up my collar,
on with my hat.
"There there old fella,
that's that, that's that"

Not worth staying in a bad relationship, as this good poem so well expresses. Thanks for this statement of knowing when to move on with your life, Jabberwocky!

A bit of reflection to start the day. This is both beautiful and inspirational. Good work.

Thanks. I've definitely moved on but not sure where my inspiration will come from now 🙂
