lofty

onepauly

the rhythm does now keep a flowing

from my heart i'll keep on rowing

pulling these oars

with all my might

what i find now is a brightening sight

turning this way

with a yearning for that

learning to sway

telling one thought to scat

its a pretty good night one could think

as long as by right my ship dont sink

Don't know why, but your excellent poem conjured up a dream-like feeling. As usual, Pauly, good work!

You are really good Pauly. Keep the flow coming. Don't let it sink.

But you stay afloat and here you are! Something about night puts us in reflective moods.

        • onepauly

reflection is a very good word!

very often we are pulled down by the under current of our lives. normally we pop back up and start all over and remember your not on your own.

thank you kevin, your all heart. where would I be if it were not for you reading my poems.

            • kevin browne

I'm not too sure but keep writing regardless. I always read what you write. I may not be the best in commenting but am always there.
