Happiness isn't something that can be given.
It is something you find within.

  • Comment from author about the poem: When all we see in life is the negative, the world around us seems to only give negative. Changing our perspective of the world is one of the keys to being truly happy. I lived with a lot of negativity after being deployed to Iraq, but in the end it was up to me to make the choice to be happy.

    Good words indeed. Many on here are living this way. Hopefully expression thru writing helps others along their path to happiness, i know its helped me. Short and sweet a good write with a good message.

      Thanks, it's nice to be able to write again. I stopped along time ago due to not having anything positive to write about. I started scribbling again about a year ago and feel like some of my words could help others.
