I don't think I even know how bad I want you
How bad I need you in my life
The world can see through my own eyes
But I can only see the black of midnight
Love is the way I see
But you're not there
Fighting for me
You're taking my breath
Stealing my heart
No where to be found
No where in sight
I don't think I know how bad I want you
How bad I need you in my life
The world can see through my own eyes
But I can only see the black of midnight
Laying in bed
Crying at night
The wonders of the world
When reality bites
Time is lost
I'm fighting for my life
Hope not found
You were right
I don't think I know how bad I want you
How bad I need you in my life
The world can see through my own eyes
But I can only see the black of midnight
Stronger than before
Colder than ice
I've lost who I am
No ending in site
The meaning of life
Has changed tonight
The Gods above are shedding some light
I know how bad I want you
I don't need you in my life
I can see through my own eyes
The stars are shinning bright.

WELCOME SAM ~ Thanks for your first poem ~ well penned and very intense ! As we go through life (I'm 33) there is always someone we want who does not respond to our love ~ we become blinded by love ! Then we open our sees and see the truth ! I love you last verse "I don't need you in my life ~ I can see through my own eyes ~ The stars are shinning bright !" BEAUTIFUL ~ Thanks for caring & sharing ~ Your BRIAN (UK)
Love is a tricky beast but when you break it down it really is the most beautiful feeling ❤️
Very true SAM ~ we were designed for LOVE ~ it is the elixir of Life ! Nothing feels better ~ scents better ~ tastes better ~ looks better ~ sounds better or is more satisfying than LOVE ~ Yours BRIAN (UK)
man does not see with the eye alone but by the light which makes it possible.
