Racing Mind

It's been so hard to get through each day

At night I lay and consider if there is another way 

For you should be laying here by my side

But life has pushed us so we are no longer unified

Once my weary eyes finally close I wake in a panic

The through the of you erupt in my mind so volcanic

My breathe is taken away as my body shoots up and my mind races

Has something happened to you? Do you need me? How can I close these deep spaces? 

I wonder and wonder how can this broken life be repaired

Or how I could get over this easier if I never cared
