Yoga on the dance floor
And the famous britney crawl (literally)
Across a bloody table
Of strangers best of all
Yes I broke my promise
Go on, Slap my wrist
I went out with the lads
And we got bloody pissed
It's always good when the booze is in
Talking and dancing, at my best
Then today I saw my phone and gasped
At my 8 facebook friend requests (who are you)
Yes I broke my promise
Go on just a tap
I guess I needed that blow out
To escape my thinking cap
I remember eating olives (didnt like em for 28 years)
When we got home in the wee hours
So little, so brave
I DO have super powers
Yes I broke my promise
Can we hug instead?
Cause i'm feeling alot better
In this wee weird messy head.

All the best nutters break a promise now and again, it's in the rule book.
I couldn't agree more! Unless its a pinky promise .. we never break those!
Always a pleasure to read your postings - written with great abandon and so engaging - keep 'em coming Renzi.
Awh why thankyou kindly Mr Michael 🙂
Renzi, the picture looks like an Irish bagpipe. Heard they make great music!
Ah well, since you are NOT my daughter you will NOT get spanked, but I would kind of expect better behavior in the future. Glad you feel better (I would too), but get your hug from your boyfriend.
Like your poem, like you, like this crazy world.
Awh Alfred? if you were ever to visit a wee irish pub here with their live music.. bouncing i tell ya, 'great craic ' i'll try my best haha, all aboard the rollercoaster!!
Ya don't say... I like it too
Yay 🙂
If you can't step outside yourself once in awhile you're not really living so you kept the most important promise of all.. To Live.
Loved it,
Mugsdaddy
