that life you dream of
will it ever be?
the house
the garden
the children?
they say you should be patient
but why is it so hard
to live in the present
when you long
to be in the future.

I enjoyed this. Something I struggle with. It’s hard to not always long for the future. It’s also hard to not constantly look at the past. But all the best things in life happen in this very moment. A beautiful sentiment. Thanks for sharing.
