I am a Frog

Jabberwocky

I am a frog jumping to another pond as you have sank into the unforgiving earth and are dry.
I am a ship tacking my sails to find a fair wind as you do not lift them
I am a moth travelling to a purer light as you have stopped shining.
I will be a song sweet on another's lips as you have stopped singing.
I will forget who you are as you have forgotten who you promised to be.
I will be myself to myself and the world as I have ceased to be who I am to you.

Good write, always be yourself, if you change to suit others you are only betraying yourself.
