Hot girls wanted – S. De Gregorio
I
An endless flow of young girls turning eighteen
Leave home and be famous by any ways or means
A casting couch ad with a free trip to offer
Arriving on set to have guys on and off her
II
With candy hooks they say you could be the next star
Easy money with Champaign and caviar
Girls made up to look young and clean
Then pimped out for the adult film machine
III
They degrade themselves on film; they weren’t raised that way
They persuade themselves that it’s all worth the pay
Conscience struggling, they try to sustain
A call to the Candy man takes away the pain.
Chorus:
One Day an opportunity may come your way
Digital footprints threaten take it away
Getting used and abused in that brash red maze
Spent up and abandoned in just ninety days

WELCOME to MPS. Very True FRIEND ~ and in our local FOYER we have counselled Young Ladies who have fallen prey to such low life agents. Ultimately the Glamour World is anything but. Some GIRLS get trapped ~ for as long as they are desirable ~ because of drugs and other abuses ! Sometimes I am ashamed to be a Man ! Thanks for caring & sharing. BRIAN (UK)
It could be someones sister, daughter or mother.
Astoundingly good first offering from you.. More please.
They only falls to pieces later on in life, if they've had botox, etc. Like trying to make mutton into lamb! lol.
Well done poem describing a sad fact of life, Noquarter. Welcome to MPS!
