The Foggy Abyss

Poetry_Of_The_Unknown

I am not happy here.
I don't know where to go,
Or for that matter...
where I am.
I feel the desire for companionship,
But the overwhelming fear of heartbreak.
When I am without you uncertainty clouds my thoughts,
Jealousy clouds my vision,
And an anxious depression takes hold of my judgment.
Do you love me?
Am I even lovable for that matter?
Can I survive this state of chaos,
Or should I simply give up?
Run with me to the woods,
Let me stare into your eyes as the ocean breeze kisses your face.
Grasp me in your embrace,
Before death grasps me in his own.
Please let me feel the love that surrounds me,
Before there is nothing but dirt encasing my corpse.

I had to find out if you be male or female so i peeked at your profile. And now that my question has been answered, i believe i could be the female version of you, at times. I can relate to the emotional trauma you've expressed here cos my boyfriend lives across the pond, and there are moments when i allow the distance between us to play with my head, mainly if it's been awhile since he's been in touch. But once i do hear from him, my emotional being is calmed and i'm able to cope once again. It's not an easy situation to be in, but then again, I've chosen to be in it and i do believe in him as well as us, and he does as well, so long story short, I will continue to hold on with the belief that one day we will be together permanently. Nice to know I'm not alone!
