I see what I'm doing

Poetic Dan

Today I understand where my brain went it tried to hold on to a comfortable space one that we knew where nothing was going to affect our point of view.

When it was happening I was unaware, few hours later, I'm writing this to myself.

Dear brain, you are unsure, that is okay!  you need to let go of beliefs, there is nothing to defend because the more you resist the more this will manifest. Maybe once you do this, you will learn not to over think every thing

Now that felt good, I hope I'm listening.

  • Comment from author about the poem: This was yesterday, after a chat with a good friend but I was getting annoyed with what she had said. This problem was me and not with her luckily she understood this and gave me time to reflect.

I love it when our split personalities converse with each other, as you describe so well herein. Mine have quite lively conversations ... it's fun to listen in. Oops, Did I just reveal a third one? I'm in trouble. Did so appreciate your excellent poem, Dan!

For your sake I hope too that you are listening!!! 🙂
Sometimes the brain has its own mysterious ways, sometimes it does not want to let go even though it should. That is where our subconscious, our gut-feeling is needed to set the brain straight!
        Good writing Dan!

Sometimes the mind goes its own way but it always comes back.
