I lost my friends along the way
There isn't really much to say
When things were good they were ok
When things were bad they went away
I choose my shoes with greater care
The roads I walk; they always fare
Maybe I am too much to bear
I'm the thing that's always there.

I love the rhyming 🙂
Thanks Bannana... or do you prefer "Mayo"
🙂
I think we all share the experience you've penned here so well. The circles tighten through the years.
Thank you Heather. Pretty tight circle now!
🙂
This rhythm and rhyme is exceptional, keep up the great work!
Thanks for your comment.
Most of the time
I like to rhyme
Now and then
I don\'t
Sometimes I find
The words come fine
Some of the time
They won't
🙂
Very good write, may your shoes walk you to the roads of happiness.
