Friends

Jabberwocky

I lost my friends along the way
There isn't really much to say
When things were good they were ok
When things were bad they went away

I choose my shoes with greater care
The roads I walk; they always fare
Maybe I am too much to bear
I'm the thing that's always there.

I think we all share the experience you've penned here so well. The circles tighten through the years.

Thank you Heather. Pretty tight circle now!
        🙂

          Thanks for your comment.
          Most of the time
          I like to rhyme
          Now and then
          I don\'t
          Sometimes I find
          The words come fine
          Some of the time
          They won't
          🙂
