Yin to my yang

Poetic Dan

I've always felt like my head was spinning
Then I met you and this new beginning

Now just with one sound (pisu)
Endless amounts of peace

Passes from your lips to my ear
Calming the stormy cyclone Insider

For words will never be enough
To let you know all my love

So I'll sing and dance
making it up as I go

For you showed me my key
That opened my flow

That's something I'll never let go
I promise to try and return it to you
I'd gladly spend the rest of my days
Making sure I do!

  • Comment from author about the poem: This was something I did the other day to let my amazing lady know that in nearly 2 years of being together, it feels like a life time but yet brand new. Never stop looking for the right puzzle piece to fit with you. One more note is that we don't say I love you that much and even though I now know it in Portuguese, its still not as fantastic to just make one noise that only we know has an abundance of meaning to it.
