goodbye hugs
mindless shrugs
man this really sucks
now that you're gone
I haven't been strong
I was wrong
I need you
if you didn't get the que
I need you back
you kept me on track
I've gone whack
my depression
is like an infection
worst than the presidential election
I look at myself in the reflection
I see my old complexion
but I've changed
that's not me
can't you see
they made me free
now they're buried under that tree
I let out a plea
for someone to help me

WELCOME FRIEND ~ Thanks for your first poem ~ it is a real heart cry~ about "lost love" ! As we grow older we all experience the agony and ecstasy of LOVE. As a Man I can say "Better to have Loved & Lost ~ Than never to have Loved at all" I always learn something positive from all my relationships. However experience tells me that it is much harder for a LADY. Thinking of you ~Thanks for sharing & caring ~ please check my Poems ~ Yours BRIAN
A marvel of rhyme as your introductory poem, aksoul! Welcome to MPS. Keep them coming.
