Beware the claws that catch...

libbyabsolom

Have you ever felt like all the happiness and love just disappears?
When all thats left is darkness and cold?
Well, thats when its near,
the Jabberwock.

Tick tock, tick tock,
goes the pocketwatch.
The Jabberwock is coming, the Jabberwock is coming.

When all are asleep is when it comes,
if you hear it all your body numbs.

Don't try to run you can't escape,
its roar will make you weep and quake.

If you think your parents can save you, your wrong!
If you've heard the Jabberwock,
they're already gone....

The scratching at the window,
The shadow black,
The hair like wire,
The eyes like fire.

Don't be hesitant,
Don't be misled,
if you think its gone,
its under your bed.

Beware the claws that caught...

  • Comment from author about the poem: I've been reading a great enticing book about a deep and twisted story of Alice, the Jabberwock and the Rabbit which inspired me.
