Love hurts!

I see the world is happy,

  but,in this world,I am not happy!

I see,life is an ongoing journey-

   but this journey of my life wants to halt!

I know,when you are in love heart beats at its best

   but my heart wants to rest..

Everyday,I see a ray of shine!

   but when will my hope shine

I know-it breaks you,hurts you,

   but this is what love gives you..

You either accept or quit,

   In the end,you are gonna get hit

So,stand,gather the courage to deal with it..

This is life,so you better face it...

      Welcome SMD ~ thanks for your first poem which examines a perennial question ~ What is love ? ~ How do we cope with it ? It starts @ 16 (or earlier ~ I'm twice that now) and we fall in and out of Love ~ My philosophy (being a Man) is better to have loved and lost ~ than never to have loved at all ! I have learned something from all my M / F relationships ! I have been hurt but not mortally and I am much wiser now ! I have a steady GF (29) but we live separately OK.
