Invisible Boundaries

poetboy123

Lies of the past, carving their way to the future

Setting down a fence between us made to endure

Our objectives make our differences so obscure

Yet it takes one step further

We see all our "enemies" and brand their existence

Stripped of their humanity, leaving our vengeance

Blinded by our beliefs, trapped in this eternal dance

To grow now we must unlearn the truth's we thought we knew

Realize our common humanity, then we become many, not few

Rise together to finally tear down these invisible boundaries

Look down at all of our hands and what do you see?

Countless paths etched upon our palm, we all have it there

Finally, now our Destiny's converge, from these marks we bear

We all bleed

We all cry

We all search

For eternity

Good write and very true. We look back at history and believe what we see. What is not realised is that history is written by the winners - what if the losers were right?
