Invocation

Night Owl

Bathing me in gold and warming my earthly woes

Oh Light of Lights

Dancing over my closed eyes,

shapes shifting and illuminating my impenetrable body

Oh Light of Lights

Communing with the solar archives and feeding upon the seeds of tomorrow

Oh Light of Lights

Night birds wake, fly and preen under your rapture

Oh Light of Lights

I reach up, kiss you and recognize the wings of my ancient heart.

Wow a fantastic ode to sunlight the light that many adore. I enjoyed it even though I'm primarily a moonlover. I ESP admire how u ended it so poetically. Thumbs up.

Hope u will write your thoughts too about my latest poem, under it. I have been writing on other sites and they say they get fun and things from It.
