Somewhere in the process

avigail

Somewhere in the process, leaders forget.

They forget that they got the mandate to provide equal resources.

So that citizens be whom they want to be, with maximum security and minimum violence.

Somewhere in the process leaders use the power of trust they got, to gain power of resources to themselves.

They delusion themselves with the view, that they are above all the rest, and start acting accordingly.

People sometimes trade, delusional peace of mind, by blindly become followers. They pay the price.

The appetite for power grows and delusions even more.

People become cynical, passive and apathetic, somewhere in the process.

Somewhere in the process some people will wake up and say- enough is enough.

Avigail, your excellent writing confirms the "power corrupts" expression. People have woken up in the past and will wake up in the future, just look at the French Revolution, what is happening in the Middle East, etc. A very true and meaningful write!

Good Evening Avi ~ Most Countries are polarized politically into LEFT (Socialism) RIGHT (Conservatism) there is and always a PARTY that seeks to hog the Middle Ground ! It is when Parties move too far to the LEFT or RIGHT that the populace says enough is enough and it ends in REVOLUTION ! Outside forces like N Korea can also disturb the equilibrium ! There is a ripple of unrest GLOBALLY ~ let us pray that it does not become a FLOOD ~ Love & Hugs BRIAN XOX

dear brother the power delusion has nothing to do with parties it has to do with personalities of leaders from all political landscapes. they forgot that they need to serve the people... hugs and love
