To Her

Caden

To Her

I don't exist to you anymore
You've left me behind
The closest two souls could be
Now the furthest apart
My broken soul craves your voice
Reminiscing every lasting moment
Our breathes collided
Speaking words we couldn't say
I'm still lost in the thought of you
But to know you don't care kills me
Telling myself to forget is the biggest reminder of all
Never again being able to talk to the person who made me happy, who made me believe, who was my best friend
The person I loved more than myself
Her

As Neil Sedaka so aptly said: Breaking up is hard to do.
      Welcome to MPS, Caden.
You wrote a very honest and emotional poem, with a bit of melancholy seeping through. Good work! Would like to read more from you.
