We should try regaining
Consciousness
Instead of leaving continents
We should try a little
Common sense
Your parents problems
They are not mine
Your parents opinions
They are not mine
It's okay to be divided
As long as together
We still fight
Those who undermine
Our intelligence
Right in front of our eyes
For if we continue to follow
The blind leading the blind
Into the sea we will fall
And forever talk
of this Island
We left to die.

Good write and I totally agree with you. I am one of 'the old fogies' but we need to be part of Europe which may eventually lead to one combined world where ALL work for each other
