The Silence

YepYep

In the silence of your mind
A perfect peace is hard to find
Those dark corners wrought with fear
Casting shadows far and near

In that place where hope is stored
Your allowed to oft explore
Seeking strength and motivation
That fall well short of expectation

Then there's lies and beration
That seem to flow from your minds tongue
A constant fix of hard things said
Coming from your own head

I find a realm of uncertainty
About myself and what I see
My mind is torn between two roads
One is hope the other woes

That perfect peace eludes my grasp
A victim of my minds own wrath
When there's silence in my mind
A perfect peace is hard to find

Very good write. That peace may be hard to find but it will be there. Welcome to MPS.
