Your Light

Caden

How fast your light can fade

So unexpectedly, yet you saw it coming

Still could not prepare for the events following

You've been here before, you've felt this

Trapped with the worst of you inside your head

Battling, crying, screaming with the person in the mirror

Most importantly though is that you're fighting

You're wiping the tears, you're still breathing

Your light will return

    A brilliant philosophy. Well said.

  • myself and me

"though is that you're fighting", and I never win. So I accept my though and hurt my heart.

    Love this one.

Good positive write. The light is always there.
