Just one night... forever

Andrew Charles Forrest

Just one night...forever

Her skin was like a rose

Soft and barely warm

Porcelain and calm

First touch like a storm

She held me with her smile

I knew I couldn’t breathe

I lay there for a while

But now I cannot leave

  • Fay Slimm.

A tender remembrance of true love and rhymed with care the feel of that special commitment engages from the first line - - thank you Andrew for sharing that "one night."

Thank you Fay, I wrote the bones of this nearly 30 years ago.
