Impermanence

seeker123

Why do humans want to exist?

What gives us the desire to continue on with our lives?

Why are we here?

What is the meaning of life?

If the answer to all these questions is that we all want to be loved, do we exist without love?

Impermanence

How come the breath of night hath snuff the light of day;

How come the wind hath ceased and clouds have gone away.

How come the stars above have blackness in between;

How come the water only shows what we want to see.

Our wings are tied behind our back our cell is locked and sealed;

Embossed a stamp a single meaning a label unrevealed.

Death is seen the final act, the curtain is withdrawn

When we take our last breath, all light is gone.

No death is not this...

Cut away the threads of life

My stiff wings ache to fly

Open the window step in the light

Unlatch the cage

Take flight
