Two-faced (enclosed Tercet)

rrodriguez

When a man decides to hide

Behind a veil of shadows

Darkness shall in him abide

An unremovable mask

Continuously worn

Why is the question to ask

Is it to disguise himself

with anyone without notice

Camouflaged as someone else

Forfeiting identity

He becomes a fake, and a

Charlatan; an entropy

  • Comment from author about the poem: I normally don't write this type of poems, but I was studying poetry and I read about the enclosed Tercet where the lines follow an "aba" rhyming pattern and each line has an equal number of syllables. I wrote this poem before, but I edited to an enclosed Tercet.
