Omens.

Fay Slimm.

Omens.

I chased this evening
evening's fade, pattern-framed
silver tin-foiled filigree
tied to grey-as-granite mountains.

I watched tinted fate
wave farewell, viewed night's
ballooning planet parade
fired from dark-as-starred silence.

I walked under change
of ethered hues, dusk-mooned
sickle-upright, orb-faced,
smiling thru' dull-as-dust gloom.

I saw in sun's goodbye
sundown-azured, purple-trailed
mourning-dyed, pale-bright,
sunk below a real-as-clear halo.

I conquered tonight
midnight-demons, rocketed love,
forgot grief as star-divined
good-as-new omens I see above.

To quench that thirst for writing of the sunset and the evening skies for which you're so good at. A masterpiece Fay. ; )

Nothing left to be said but I still can repeat that you surprise me each and every day with your poetry. You are fantastic Fay. You don't know how I'm pleased to be here writing poetry with one master like you. It is a blessing.

WONDERFUL FAY ~ Photographic (The Future's Orange !) and Poetic perfection ! We can never be master Wordsmith's like you but reading (and reciting) your elegant odes always lifts me on to higher linguistic ground. When i'm pondering a linguistic choice ~ I often think "Which word would Fay choose ?" The quality of tomorrow is determined by our attitude as we awake ! Yours as ever ~ BRIAN
