Questions

Sara Storkson

Notice of absence from Sara Storkson
Hey guys,
Due to some unforseen personal stuff I will be gone for awhile.

What do you do when your brain tells you that you're worthless?

How do you manage to make it through all of the darkness?

I wish I had an answer for all of my mental bullshit.

I wish my questions had answers.

I wish I had the answer.

  • Comment from author about the poem: I kind of slacked off the past few days. It's not much of a poem. I'm having trouble with inspiration coupled with depression so bare with me♡

Well you've done okay here - a good write. You could try what I do when searching for a subject - don't look inward for your own experiences - search for a topic like, say, a flower bursting into bloom. Just describe in your own words the way the petals unfurl, look up to the sun, attract the bees, fade and die only to leave seeds for the cycle to renew.

Sorry I got carried away there but I guess you can follow the thinking.

Actually I think I've just inspired myself 🙂

A heart-felt expression with attention to form. Well done poem, Sara!

You seem to be shining bright enough to illuminate your way through any darkness. Good write.

"What do you do when your brain tells you that you're worthless?"
Ignore it or better fire it.
I can fully understand your feelings. I was there myself and do not know when I will be there. There is no answers for now, but I am sure, soon in the future, there will be answer. Keep your figure cross.
