Sleep

Disrespectfully nice

It's a blissful ignorance of dreaming about things past and future

A way to pass the time without making a sound

The calm winds blows past your ears and all you hear is a voice telling you that it's ok

It's OK to close your eyes, it's OK to give into the feeling

But it's not OK because with every passing moment you are in what feels like an eternal slumber deep in the back of your mind is a thought

A thought that is broken into many as you dream about that vacation you want to take

The money that you could make while your awake

All the things you could have said the day before that is long gone due to the paralasyis your body is now forced to endure because of your sleep

Then you suddenly wake up and ask yourself..........

Do I really need 8 hours of reminding myself where I should be in life

Good write. Those eight hours are important as they allow the mind to re-assemble the previous days thoughts into some semblance of order and understanding.
In my case it is not enough so I need to have a siesta in the afternoon as well.

Trust me I love sleep just as much as the next person however my need for more iny life causes me to stay awake
