My thoughts on this are that I love it. ; )

      Thanx.

"He's spent his whole life being to young,
To live the life that's in his dreams.
At night he lies awake and he wonders,
      Why can’t that be me?
'cause in his life he's filled with all these good intentions.
He’s left a lot of things he’d rather not mention right now.
      Just before he says goodnight,
He looks up with a little smile at me and he says,

If I could be like that,
      I would give anything,
Just to live one day, in those shoes.
If I could be like that,
      What would I do?
      What would I do? Yeah...

She spends her days up in the North Park,
Watching the people as they pass
And all she wants is just a little piece of this dream,
Is that too much to ask?
      With a safe home,
      And a warm bed,
      On a quiet little street.
All she wants is just that something to hold onto,
      That’s all she needs.
      Yeah!

If I could be like that,
      I would give anything,
Just to live one day, in those shoes.
If I could be like that,
      What would I do?
      What would I do? Yeah."

Dreams and goals are the fuel that drives us to go on day after day. Great write Aa.

Thanx, but these words are from a song called :
          'Be like that';
I didn't write them, I just love them.

It's one of my favourite songs
And the two people in the story have thoughts which are in tandem
And these are thoughts that I think too.

Also the first line should be 'too' instead of 'to', I have just noticed, but I can't edit it now.
(I copy and paste lyrics from the internet to here and did not notice it was wrong until now.)

              Thank you.
Your appreciation of my writing helps me to continue...

"You have, broken through my armour
And I don't have an answer,
              I...
I love you all the same...

I paint, the things I want to see,
              But it don't come easy,
              I...
I love you all the same...

              I have,
              I've got to stop smiling,
              It gives the wrong impression,
              I...
I love you all the same."

              • Aa Harvey

"I dig my toes into the sand.
The ocean looks like a thousand diamonds
                Strewn across a blue blanket.
                I lean against the wind,
                Pretend that I am weightless
And in this moment I am happy.
                Happy."

                • FredPeyer

Will remember that next time I go to the beach!

                  • Aa Harvey

"A collection of peace where we could live.
A collection of hope for us to give.
A collection of words that mean we care.
A collection of love for us to share."
