I walk down the street
On these fine days,
A smile on my face,
Greeting all,
with joy and happiness.
I creep down the street
In the dark of night,
A sinister look on my face,
Hiding from all,
Getting ready to pounce.
Into work I go,
Where all greet me
With fun, happiness,
And dare I say, love,
For my helpful, happy ways.
I slink down the alleys,
Keeping to the dark,
Keeping to the shadows,
Looking for a victim,
To satisfy my blood lusting ways.
The day goes on,
The work gets done,
With joyous banter
Pervading the room,
A life of fun and companionship.
There he is!
My victim!
I pounce!
Drag him to my den!
Destroy his precious life!
Looking around the office
I see James is not there,
Where is he I ask?
Oh he was found last night,
With his throat ripped out.

Did you have a bad hair day?! Or you heard me sing, and it drove you to that?! lol.
Don't act like you didn't know what happened to eddy.
Who? Me!
I didn't think you had it in you Goldfinch! Jekyll and Hyde! Man, I love your poem. Sorry Cat, but this little bird here put Eddy to shame!
Thank you Fred. It does not happen often but be careful if you are walking out at night.
Put those things away GF. Fangs for the poem, though.
Cheers Fred, don't worry I will not be round your way tonight.
A scary end to my morning read Goldie - shall have to watch out for those dark alley-walks from tonight.
Thank you Fay. You have no worries, I will not be out for a few months now, back to more civilised writing.
Fangs very much for that. It gave me a thirst. Very enjoyable reading.
Don't drink too deeply da.
Thank you very much for commenting.
I see you are in touch with the dark side we all possess and explore from lifetime to lifetime. A sign of a well-balanced soul, Goldie. Well expressed!
We all have a dark side but mine shows itself extremely infrequently.
Thanks Louis, much appreciated.
It seems you are all ready to celebrate Halloween. Goose bump all over me.
Chilly writing.
Thank you m and m, it will be warmer tomorrow.
Thank you for the forecast.
Good fun mr. Hyde ... seems good to do something different
Very true WL, thank you for your comment, much appreciated.
You were dripping blood from your pen. First time I read something like this from you. I think Eddy is spilling some blood on all of us. Now we have cute blood inspiration. Enjoyed very much reading.
