pulsing fluff

dusk arising

tell me, do you dream when night has come
as an angel combs the rainbow in your hair
the stars come down to bejewel your eyes
and sunset kisses waves upon your shore

do you tiptoe behind the edge of morning
and pausing wake the flowers with your kiss
are those pulsing fluff of butterfly wings
the gentle sound of your beating heart

does a breeze caress your silk soft flesh
your full moist lips release a gentle sigh
and a smile enlighten that beautiful face
in waves of pleasure in your nights

       upon these thoughts i dwell
as i rest my mind to sleep
                               and my dreams delight

This was a really pleasant read, it made me feel happy and calm. I related it to my children and niece with their soft baby features. I imagined them being visited by a beautiful sleep angel who combed their hair and sent them off to an amazing dreamland thus giving me peace and the ability to drift off myself. Beautiful.

That really is the sort of fantasy i had in mind so i'm pleased you could feel/visualise it. Please see also my poem quench if you like this sort of fantasy thing. Thank you for reading and commenting, much appreciated.

This piece and the previous 'quench' are my first forays into this fantasy romancing world of delights and judging by the popularity of these two i think i shall be revisiting again soon. Thank you so much for your encouragement and kind comments.. x

hmmm i wish i was so inspired every night/day. In times of lack of inspiration i tend to shut up rather than force something out. I'm quiet at the moment i think.
Thank you for reading and commenting. Please have a look at 'quench' i published a few days back if you like this sort of fantasy thing.
