('Jesu thou joy of loving hearts')

Almighty God, you the fountain

Of all wisdom unto all men

Yu know our needs before we ask

Help us, give power for each task

 

You too do know our ignorance

When dull is here our mind and sense

Have compassion on our weakness

Turn to us now, and us sure bless

 

Give us those things, we here now pray

Which for our unworthiness, say

We, that we dare not ask of you

Nor for our blindness [we] not see true

 

But ask we now through Christ your Son

He our mediator, the one

Who by Him we are saved, set free

And His eternally to be
