Good In Evil

poetboy123

Silence saying nothing, yet telling us the most

Ending arrogance and humbling their boasts

Ignorance’s cruel blade slicing through our realities

Teaching us of our lack of knowledge, setting us free

Shadows inciting terror within our hearts, hidden truths in plain sight

Questions with answers unwanted, the moon reveals all in the night

Fear a ball and chain upon our legs, holding us back

Bringing to our attention the strengths we may lack

Misery drawing out the tears from our eyes

Helping us remember the value of joy in our lives

Apathy is now and forever our greatest foe

No good comes out of it, this I know

Very good write. Apathy can be a very strong weapon in some instances.

      Thank you, Gold!

Wow, that was powerful! but that last line kills me, as deep inside I know you are right. We are the only ones in this planet to keep thinking up better ways to blow each other apart, this part of the brain "apathy" is still struggling within us!

Thank you very much, Dan! And yeah, the reality of it is too true.
