Right Before

GMO1

RIGHT BEFORE
Somebody just poured their first cup of fresh brewed coffee to get them through the day.
Added sugar and cream and calmly walked away.
Said good morning to that guy who sits in the car right cubical and never speaks.
Took a look out the window to admire the weather.
Fifty-second floor, how could one ignore that's thirteen multiplied by four.
And since the building skipped from twelve to fourteen, they defeated the purpose know what I mean.
Anyway the day must go on as they sat at their desk.
With their ergonomic chair, Pentium four computer, and enormous paper mess.
Starring at photos of wife and kids, while rubbing the corner of their eye when an eyelash his.
Turning to focus on the sky outside as a tear flowed from an irritated eye.
As they focused they spotted something unreal, a plane, glass, and incoming steel.
The last words heard were my God in heaven, as we all watched the news.

Thanks Friend ~ A lovely Tribute to the Iconic Twin Towers and the 3000 innocent souls who died with her ! I was in America on 9.11.2001 and I was made An Honorary American on the DAY because I shared in the Angst, My Friend ALAN worked on Floor 101 N Tower ~ BUT ~ By the Grace of God ~ He was out of Office on an Assignment. In 2002 he took me to Ground Zero but he cried all day. I have been to see the Memorial (Water flowing into a bottomless hole) I think it appropriate, 67 UK Citizens died in the Attack and we remember them every year at our own Memorial. Thanks for the Memory ~ We will never forget them ~ Yours BRIAN
