Calm and peaceful day shattered, as it all breaks out
Releasing a tidal wave of terror and unstoppable doubt
Confusion and chaos bringing me to the brink
Upon this stormy sea, the boat of hope begins to sink
Trapped by the tide and whirlpools of emotion
All the things locked inside, let out into an ocean
Can’t control these feelings like crashing waves
I have to take the reins, refuse to be their slave
Drowning my heart with these overflowing tears
Thrown around by all my surrounding fears
Storm clouds gather and lightning strikes and thunder rolls
Time stops, heart starts, ready to contain my raging soul
Master of my own mind, I’m pulling out the drain
Vanishing until they decide to be free once again
