Cold pretence

Rose_xo

I am the tremble when you speak, your hands grazing over each other in desperation.

You can try to wipe the taste of me from your mouth but there it lingers.
Try to shake it off under conquests but what are you conquering? Nothing.
The crack in your heart is me damaged beyond repair.

You can try to hide but you cannot hide from yourself, you in me and me in you.
These ties cannot be severed the only thing that may limit the damage is time, but even time has its limits.

Co dependent isn't that what you dreamed of? Do you regret this now in your heart of hearts?

Irreversible unfiltered, pretence that is so falsely executed, I see right through you.
