Tune: Westminster Abbey
('Christ is made the sure foundation')
Psalm 19 v.7-14
********
The law of the Lord is perfect
Converts souls in each respect
Testimony of the Lord sure
Makes wise the simple e'ermore
Statutes of the Lord they right are
They rejoice the heart by far
The commandment of the Lord pure
Enlightening the eyes more
And the fear of the Lord it is
Enduring for ever this
Judgements of the Lord they are true
And righteous they be to you
More to be desired are they than
Gold, fine gold, riches of man
Sweeter than honey, honeycomb
Or all dainties we have known
And by them your servants are warned
Light of life has on them dawned
In keeping of them great reward
Is, we can too be assured
Who can understand their errors
Cleanse me from sins, endeavours
Do I make, my faults to forsake
Where things secret I partake
Keep back too your servant, I pray
From presumptuous sins ay (always)
Let them not dominion o'er me
Have, then I upright shall be
And innocent from great sin, so
Trusting you, I your way go
Let the words of my mouth, my part
And meditation of heart
Be acceptable in your sight
O Lord, full of power and might
You my strength, and my redeemer
You who will be, are, and were

Another good one Orchi.
Thanks G/F. Don\'t know the St Machar fella, with this Cathedral here. Ahh patron Saint of Aberdeen. We should both know him. He was around in 6th Century. Did ya meet him?!
Yes we had a glass of Scotch one day, he had water in his to keep his Saintly virtues intact.
