Words on paper let the imagination fly
They don't always make sense, no reason why
Thoughts, emotions,dreams, you write
Imagination wanders, dragons fight
Words are freedom to say what you feel
Scenarios don't always have to be real
Words on paper help you be free
Words on paper let me be me
No one to judge if its not right
I say what I think, there's no fight
My pen flows free and I write
Peaceful morning, not a cloud in site
I sit at my desk, staring at the screen
Thinking about last nights dream
Words on paper let me be free

WOW THERESA ~ I'm so so proud of you~ this lovely POEM has everything ! RHYME ~ RHYTHM ~ REPETITION and REGIME ! The rhyme is DOUBLETS which give the Poem great flow and RHYTHM for ease of recitation which is the hallmark of a good poem. REPETITION of the Title "Words on Paper" (lines 1 7 8 15 16) to reinforce the message. The REGIME of versification ~ 2 sextets and a quatrain. A Perfect Poem and one we can all relate to as well.
