Save me, O God, by your strong name
You ever remain the same
Judge me by your strength perfectly
Then I true helpéd shall be
Hear my prayer O God, do give ear
Show me life, may it appear
Give ear to the words that I speak
I, your servant, do you seek
For strangers are risen 'gainst me
Oppressors seek my soul, see
They you, O God, they have not set
You before them, but forget
Behold, God is my helper sure
Will come to my aid e'ermore
He is with them that do uphold
My soul, they too in His fold
He shall unto my enemies
Reward evil, He them sees
Shall cut them off in His truth pure
Act from His treasure's great store
I will to Him free sacrifice
Praise His name, he does suffice
The LORD, my help, His name is good
I worship Him as I should
For He has come, delivered me
From all trouble, now I see
His desire on my enemies
Though I was 'midst contraries
