Explain love to me

In words I can understand

Sincere outstretched hands

Is it seasonal

Like the warm breeze in Autumn

Falling leaves and all

Or like Winters ice

Does it fade and melt away

Wanting it to stay

Fragrant like springs touch

Beautiful blooms in the sun

Watch it come undone

Or like Summers heat

Does it burn you when it can

Blown away like sand

I think it's all four

Can't have one without the next

Most beautiful Hex

Well done Haiku! Well worded! I like the 4th one the best. "watch it come undone". Guess it's the mood I'm in today. 🙂 All were very good!

You're very kind Christina. Thank you.

Thanks MAN ~ I love HAIKU and these are perfect and (as you have presented) I prefer a themed group rather than just a "stand alone". The analogy between Love and the Seasons is a popular one in poetry and you have explored it perfectly. I agree with you Love is reflected in all four Seasons ! Thanks for sharing. My poem today is a collaboration with CHRISTINA on Four Solar Bodies Venus ~ Mars ~ Sun ~ Moon. Please check ~ thanks BRIAN
