Daddy's Little Princess

Kalai

Appa, Appa, your little princess is craving for your love.

The love which no one could give her.

Princess is waiting for you, Appa.

Did your princess break your heart?

Princess never wants to hurt you, Appa.

Friends getting loads of heart shapes from their Appas, where is your princess heart shape, Appa?

Appa, I promise, I will never make you sad, please love your princess, Appa! Please!

Appa, believe in the strength of your princess, she will make you proud one day.

You will be amazed, Appa!

Princess is going to make her Appa very happy.

Princess do not want candies and chocolates Appa, she only want your love.

The love which can make every Appas' girls strong and brave to face all her struggles.

I want to be with you, Appa!

Your princess want to be with you!

Appa, princess love you so much!

Please do not let you princess go away from you, I beg you, Appa!

  • Comment from author about the poem: My dad is a very busy man, he never has that much to spend time with me, this barrier keep us apart. I have always wanted my dad to spend time with me, but it never happens, so this poem is just my eagerness to get my dad's love.

THANKS KALAI ~ Thanks for your first Poem ~ Free Verse nicely shaped but a sad content ! I'm not a DAD (yet !) but I do have a DAD and He is always there for me even though I have left home. My Sister has a very special relationship with my Dad and I think most Daughters do. In your own comment you say the problem is lack of TIME I'm almost twice as old as you (still single) but I still like to have a drink and a chat with my Dad and go to sporting events. All you're asking for is a bit more of your Dad's time ~ sadly a you get older ~ move away from Home etc ~ the opportunities will become even less and that makes me very sad ~ Thinking of You ~ Yours BRIAN (UK)

That's true, when we get older, we get very little chances to spend time with our parents, but I wish we get to enjoy most our time with them.🌝
