In this wild and crazy world
Feeling myself being unfurled
As darkness and light mix and collide
From the truth I could never hide
Walking on in this wild and crazy world
Unraveling all these feelings in me, curled
Always racing, never stopped to walk
My heart is open and ready to talk
Standing still as this wild and crazy world rushes past
Doomed to never catchup, forever meant to be last
Banging on my cage but to no avail
Wondering if I’ll ever prevail
Screaming out silence
Bleeding out joy
Freezing this fire
Dancing on in this wild and crazy world, a stage
Painting not what we see but what we feel
Authors of our own destiny, ready to turn the page
Upon this wild and crazy world, the only thing that’s real
