National Parks

National Parks

Thank Teddy for national parks

And their many animals there

From moose to meadow larks

In their element everywhere

All the animals protected

As they go about their day

The tourists at snail paces

As they drive through the place

Some areas without roads

Must be seen while hiking

The challenges they all know

With the risk to them inviting

Some pitch a little tent

And use tin cooking ware

The past they represent

And they are thrilled at being there

Thank God for Teddy Roosevelt

Who started all the fuss

Instrumental he surely was

And he saved the land for us

Good write, the National Parks in the UK are very special places as well. To walk within them is awe inspiring.
