A Place For Animals

A Place For Animals

Some animals need our help

A place where they can go

Land set aside for them

Whether deserts hot or snow

It should be a place

Where money is well spent

To give the animals a habitat

With odds that they can win

I say that the government

Should organize the place

And keep the land from private owners

Who would let the land degrade

Rangers would watch over

All the animals there

They would all be protected

And given the best of care

The tourists could all travel

And respect the animals’ spaces

Cars would only go so far

With off-limits in many places

This would be the greatest thing

And I’m thankful to look back

And know T.R. created them

And the animals do not lack

This is an excellent piece my friend. We need more people in the world like you to comprehend the importance of animals in the world. We humans don't own the world, we just share it with other species of life. Excellent write. ; )

Good write and I would wish it was so but homo sapiens is so greedy that it wants all for itself.
