A Place For Animals
Some animals need our help
A place where they can go
Land set aside for them
Whether deserts hot or snow
It should be a place
Where money is well spent
To give the animals a habitat
With odds that they can win
I say that the government
Should organize the place
And keep the land from private owners
Who would let the land degrade
Rangers would watch over
All the animals there
They would all be protected
And given the best of care
The tourists could all travel
And respect the animals’ spaces
Cars would only go so far
With off-limits in many places
This would be the greatest thing
And I’m thankful to look back
And know T.R. created them
And the animals do not lack

Thanks so much AP! I really appreciate your comments. Here's to the outdoors!
Good write and I would wish it was so but homo sapiens is so greedy that it wants all for itself.
