You, meet depression.

Iuselocean

It’s a seductive beauty
What it lacks in honesty
It more than makes up for in brutality.
It whispers to you as loud as a canon
And shouts to you mumbles of promises
You can take a ride on it,
But you will travel no where.
You can lay on but sleep shall never be found.
It’s obnoxious but polite
It knows it’s manners and will hold the door open
A subtle, sparkly delight
With no planned out direction
It’s in a hidden place
Like a cave or a church
In a small place
To avoid being hurt
It’s offended easily, doesn’t take too well to insults
So if you see it, act intrigued
But don’t pay it too much attention
Cause if you look too deep in to it
You’ll lose your mind
