In Your Memory Dear Paternal Aunt

Pintu Mahakul

(Poem in Acrostic form)

Charming affection you had kept for us,

Hard working land lady you were,

Ambitious you were highly and supportive,

Nectar of wisdom you had flown in advice,

Decisions you were taking were superior,

Revival of trust of God we had seen in you,

Accepting truth was your vision and love,

Motivating for spiritual growth like a mother,

Advice you had given still had rung the time.

Progressive mind we have seen in past in you,

Appealing before God we are, you rest in peace,

Looking ahead for eternal bliss is infinite process,

Excellent in affection you still shine in mind,

Introducing you in reflection of mirror is fortune.

    A great tribute beautifully written.

A heart-touching acrostic and very fine tribute dear Pintu - an aunt well loved and much missed is shown by the line - "Excellent in affection you still shine in mind," A beautiful read.
