This is the time for monsters and bats,
Halloween spirits, ghosts and cats,
Weird things are happening and witches brew,
But these are the things I wish for you.
I wish the only spirits you meet,
Are spirits of love and warm friends so sweet,
I hope the tricks that you are told to do,
Might gain you a caring friend or two.
